En 2002, le groupe sort son premier album sous le nom de Norma Jean, Bless The Martyr And Kiss The Child chez Solid State. Peu après, le chanteur Josh Scogin quitte le groupe pour aller fonder en 2004 le groupe The Chariot. En 2005, après l’arrivée d’un nouveau bassiste, sort le très abouti « O’God, the Aftermath », véritable bombe hardcore d’une violence musicale rarement égalée dans le style. Puis, fin 2006, sort l’album « Redemeer », album très riche en harmonies et plus mélodique que son prédécesseur. Ils ont depuis sortis 3 albums studio, Anti-Mother(2008), Meridional (2010) et Wrongdoers(2013) qu’ils viennent défendre sur scène pour cette nouvelle tournée.
